President's letter

Welcome to the Journées Dermatologiques de Paris!

Thank you for signing up for this highlight in the professional calendar of dermatology practitioners and the French Society of Dermatology.

We hope you will make the most of the convention and its scientific programme, together with the valuable opportunities to socialise that it provides.

As usual, our top-notch CME sessions and forums offer a great chance for dialogue between speakers and audience, so don’t hesitate to grab the mike and join in the debate! We also invite you to attend the clinical research updates that make the JDP one of the world’s leading dermatological conventions.

Don’t miss the ever-instructive and enjoyable Top 12 Juniors’ session, the Hot Topic talks, or the international forum where we showcase our Algerian, Australian and Italian colleagues.

You can get a flash drive with the best excerpts from the “Quatre Saisons de la Dermatologie” meetings at the Maison de la Dermatologie stand.

Go ahead and sign up, and if you’re not a member of the SFD yet, now’s your chance to join!

This year’s event will be a bit special, because 2017 is the year Sylvie Fojutowski retires after 10 years of tirelessly organising the JDP for us.

Modest Sylvie may prefer not to draw attention to herself, but if you do bump into her during the event, don’t spare her blushes – let her know how much we appreciate all her efforts over the years!

This year we also say goodbye to Professor Gaëlle Quéreux, who has been the mainstay of our organising committee for the past 2 years. We can never thank you enough, Gaëlle.

We also want to extend our thanks to Professor Nicole Basset Seguin and Professor Denis Julien for jointly organising this convention, to the scientific advisory committee, to the CME committee, to all the speakers, and to the MCI staff led by Brigitte Noël and Philippe Fournier.
